Glenbeigh Glencar Half Marathon 2026

The Glenbeigh Glencar Half Marathon is part of a multi-distance running event organised by Glenbeigh Glencar GAA Club and Star of the Laune AC in County Kerry, held as part of the Glenbeigh Summer Festival. The half marathon course runs through the scenic roads surrounding Glenbeigh village and the Caragh Lake area, taking in the spectacular mountain and lakeshore landscape of this part of Kerry. All distances finish at Glenbeigh Glencar GAA pitch. The course is challenging and hilly, reflecting the undulating nature of the roads through the Glenbeigh and Glencar valleys. It is officially measured in line with Athletics Ireland requirements. The event is a fundraiser supporting Glenbeigh Glencar GAA Club and Star of the Laune AC. A shuttle bus operates from the GAA pitch to start points for some distances. Walkers are welcome on the 5k and 10k.
