The Rock the Lough Half Marathon is part of the annual Rock the Lakes and Lough multi-distance event organised by St Peter's AC, starting and finishing at South Lake Leisure Centre in Craigavon. The course begins by looping the flat, sealed paths of Craigavon Lakes before taking the cycle-paths and a closed public road out to Oxford Island Nature Reserve, where it navigates a trail loop around the island before returning via the Link Roads to finish at the Leisure Centre. The profile is flat and fast throughout. Pacers are available and a lead and tail bike accompany the field. All finishers receive a bespoke medal and goody bag, with prize money of £300 for the male and female winners. Timing is provided by MyRunResults.
