The Céide Coast Atlantic Run Half Marathon is hosted by Ballycastle Athletic Club on the Wild Atlantic Way in north Mayo. The point-to-point course departs from the Céide Fields Visitor Centre and follows the coast road south, passing Ballycastle Beach and continuing to Downpatrick Head, where a brief 500-metre section crosses the headland on grass before returning to road. Runners then make their way back to the finish at Ballycastle Community Hall. The route takes in the dramatic Céide Cliffs, views of the Dún Briste sea stack, and sweeping Atlantic panoramas throughout. Coaches transport all runners from the village to the start at Céide Fields. Each finisher receives a bespoke medal and tech top, with post-race refreshments provided at the Community Hall.
