The Oldbridge parkrun begins and ends directly in front of the magnificent Oldbridge House within the historic Battle of the Boyne Visitor Centre. This unique single-lap course guides participants through the expansive estate, winding past ancient specimen trees and offering striking views of the Mary McAleese Boyne Valley Bridge in the distance. The route traverses the scenic ridges and rolling fields where the historic battle took place, providing a deep connection to Irish heritage with every stride. The terrain is primarily run on grass and trail paths, which can be uneven or soft depending on the season. While the course features a short, sharp incline early on, it is celebrated for its tranquil, pastoral beauty and the welcoming community atmosphere at the onsite Tearoom Pavilion.
