The Listowel parkrun begins near the Greenway car park at the rear of the Listowel Community Centre and follows a scenic three-lap, anti-clockwise route through the beautiful Listowel Town Park. Participants run adjacent to the local rugby pitch before curving into the woods to tackle the signature challenge known simply as "The Hill," which offers a rewarding turnaround point near the Gurtinard Gate. The course continues past the historic local graveyard and follows the edge of the pitch-and-putt course, providing lovely views of the park’s greenery and the nearby playground. The terrain is run entirely on permanent tarmac paths, ensuring a smooth and reliable surface throughout the seasons. While largely even, the route is defined by its undulating profile and the steep, spirited climb that participants must conquer three times before reaching the finish funnel.
