The Leixlip 5k (hosted by Le Chéile AC) follows a fast and popular route starting and finishing at the Leixlip Amenities Centre. The entirely paved course is known for its smooth surface. The terrain is primarily flat with a series of gentle, manageable undulations as it travels through the local community and surrounding residential areas. The run concludes with a return to the athletics track.
